15 months
It's been a tiring and very exciting month!
This little beauty was adopted so she's officially my cousin now!

and crying at some of the holiday decor. Yes, I am terrified of this putting Santa and also a musical snow globe and dancing snowman.
I have 12 teeth now. I'm not walking yet. I am cruising along the couch and around the coffee table, though. I'm just not a risk taker, too afraid to try the walking thing right now. Some days I just take 1 nap. Bedtime can be anytime between 7-8pm. Daddy asked me what my name was today and I was able to answer him with "Na-Na". Some other new words this month "hot" "one" "what" "fish" "dog" "why" "no no no" "go go go" "sup" -translated (stand up) and "sat"-translated (what's that?). I also started doing the sign for "more" this month and daddy's made up sign for "all done" (both arms in the air) I like to wave and say "hi" a lot :) I LOVE Christmas trees and enjoy waving at them. Animal sounds I like to do are elephant, duck and snake. Even though I'm sensitive and slow to warm up, I'm still a very happy girl! Stay tuned for my 15 month stats!
What is a friend?
What is a friend? I will tell you. It is a person with whom you dare to be yourself. Your soul can be naked with him. He seems to ask of you to put on nothing, only to be what you are. He does not want you to be better or worse. When you are with him, you feel as a prisoner feels who has been declared innocent. You do not have to be on your guard. You can avow your little vanities and envies and hates and vicious sparks, your meanness and absurdities and, in opening them up to him, they are lost, dissolved on the white ocean of his loyalty. He understands. You do not have to be careful. You can abuse him, neglect him, tolerate him. Best of all, you can keep still with him. It makes no matter. 14 months
I still love to suck my fingers and snuzzie my nose throughout the day. I have 7 teeth. My gums are so swollen and ouchy right now-working on like 7 more teeth including top & bottom molars. Tylenol and ibuprofen are my best friends! 
I love bath time! Mommy likes bath time too! She loves how curly my hair gets when she scrunches it.
The natural bracelets on my arms are slowly disappearing. I wear size 18 month clothes and some 24 mo/2T shirts. My sleepers are all 24 mon and 2 T -my torso is pretty long and we can't seem to get the zipper up in the 18 month sleepers. My feet are also growing. Some size 2 shoes are too small and some size 3 shoes are too big. Mommy is guessing I'll need a good pair of shoes around 16 months when I start walking :) 
I am really becoming selective on what I eat & will let you know when I am NOT happy with what you put in front of me. I am encouraged to try everything but of course I do not. Some things I still like are soy butter sandwiches, cheese bread, mac and cheese, carrots, peas (although I've been refusing these lately) stuffed shells, garlic bread, buttered toast, crab meat, ravioli, yogurt, applesauce, pancakes, bananas, peaches, pears, blueberries. I'll eat oatmeal and cream of wheat after you force, I mean, strongly encourage me to take the first bite :) 
I love whole milk!
I like playing with my cousins!
Some of the words you might hear me say: "hi""Da da" "Mama" "good" "num" "whoa" "wee" "wow" "baby" "toe" (for toast) "Go" (working on Go Bucks!) "ball" "no" I will say "ssssss" when asked what a snake says.I like to pull up my shirt to make sure my belly button is still there. I will point to my hair, ears, mouth, teeth, tongue, eyes, nose, knee, feet, and belly. I still like to show everyone how big I am and play peek a boo. My favorite song right now is "the wheels on the bus". I love tearing up magazines and looking through my board books. I love being chased. I love throwing a ball back and forth (for like 3 seconds now). I like to climb the stairs. I pull myself up and will walk behind a push toy with stiff Nazi soldier legs. I love to give kisses to mommy, daddy, my toys and the animals in my books.
I'm still a pretty happy baby but have been pretty grouchy with these teeth & other toddler frustrations. Some days I need 2 naps but most days I just take a 1-1 1/2 hr nap. Bedtime is around 7pm/7:30pm and I sleep until 7:30/8:00am. Thanks for taking the time to check on me!

Instead of salivating when a bell rings, I smile when mommy gets the camera out, but I guess there's some slobber there too :) Still working on those teeth! I now have 6!

If I'm like my mommy, I will suck them until they start gagging me which was around 7 or 8 yrs old for her :)

Mommy and I say "Ready, set, Go!" and we watch this car fly down our steep driveway into the road-the mommy and baby inside always fall out in the street!
The pumpkins were behind me a few feet so I was not afraid.
