Recent travels

We love to travel! Last year after Thanksgiving, we flew to Phoenix, AZ and drove to the Grand Canyon. It was so incredible! After some great photos on the south rim, we drove the "gangsta hoopty" our rental car, to Las Vegas. We had so much fun walking through the hotels, casinos, and catching a few shows.
Our most recent get away was a road trip to New York City. What an amazing sea of concrete! We ate in China town, bought a cheap Dolce & Gabbana hand bag, went to the top of the empire state building, visited Ground Zero, saw the statue of Liberty, and most importantly, I saw my long lost Canadian friend Caralise!!! She and her husband Jamie camped out in the same hotel as us for 2 nights-it was great spending time with them.
Our next big get away will be in June 2009. My cousin Melanie is getting married in San Diego, so we're planning our next vacation around her big day. We can't wait!

Moving forward

A little further down the Wolfe trail, but no baby in sight. The 3 cycles of clomid with IUI were a bust. My mind wants to wrap itself around the possibility that I may never have a child, but my heart won't let me. Neither will my husband, the eternal optimist. "I prayed for you and waited 10 years before God brought you to me. I am totally at peace, I know we're gonna have a baby someday." I am so blessed to have B. He is positive, supportive, patient, and most importantly, he is by my side, loving me even on the days when I'm not very lovable. What does the future hold? I have no idea, but I'm so glad I know the One who is already there. My prayer is for peace, for strength, and that somehow, God would be glorified through my heartache.
