Fundus fun
I had another tummy check today and I'm measuring big (ya think?) I forgot to ask the Dr. what I'm measuring but I'm guessing it must be at least a 2-3 week difference as he wants me to have an ultrasound to check baby's growth. That will be August 7th. I hear 3rd trimester ultrasounds are pretty unreliable so I'm not getting too excited that my due date will change.
Time flies!
My nephew just turned 3 years old! He got a bike, big wheel, trucks, cars and some clothes that were quickly tossed to the side :-) Oh how the years go by!Hopeful sadness
I have had 3 friends recently miscarry there precious little ones and several others who have also said goodbye to their children along the way. I'd like to share the lyrics to this song - I can't help but think of them. I'm glad that each of them have a personal relationship with God because His promises are true...He is working everything together for their ultimate good.

Hello 3rd trimester!
28 weeks down, 12 to go!Other than the 2 kidney stone episodes, the 2nd trimester was wonderful! I'm still pretty comfortable and love to feel our little one kick, punch and jump around. Since week 26 we've been able to see baby moving from the outside-very alien-like-so amazing! Cravings-just ice cream and shave ice. I passed the glucose test but am still anemic so increasing the iron supplements-my poor stomach, they are harsh! My next Dr.'s appointment is in about 3 weeks. After that I will start having appointments every 2 weeks. Baby weighs two and a quarter pounds and measures 14.8 inches from the top of head to heels. Baby can blink his/her eyes, which now sport lashes. I have really been feeling "girl" lately, but we'll see! Either way we feel so blessed!
